VFS says fee payment can be made only in cash in AED or by credit card, and that fees may change due to exchange rates or without prior notification. This is separate from the consular visa fee.

Estonia MFA states that applications are generally lodged in the applicant’s country of residence and that Estonia cooperates with VFS Global as an external service provider in the United Arab Emirates. Optional VFS services: what can be safely priced

Before paying for any add-on, open the live VFS Estonia UAE booking or payment page and check three points: whether the service is optional, the exact AED price including any VAT, and whether it remains payable if the appointment is moved or the application is refused. Optional services do not increase the chance of approval; they are convenience services, not decision-making fees.

Third-party costs that change the real budget

The application-centre total is not the full trip budget. UAE-based applicants commonly need to budget separately for Schengen travel medical insurance, visa photos, printing, document copies, translations where a document is not accepted in its original language, courier or passport return if selected or required in the live flow, and itinerary-related costs such as flight and hotel reservations. VFS UAE confirms that travel insurance must cover at least €30,000 for the Schengen area, but the official evidence reviewed does not set a private-market AED price for insurance, photos, courier, translations or reservations.

Private agencies and travel companies are also separate from VFS and the Embassy unless an official page expressly says otherwise. Use the following as a payment-planning method, not as a promise that every applicant will pay the same total.
