Yes, but maximum 20% of your income can come from Spanish sources to maintain the visa.
A special tax regime allowing qualifying new residents (employees of foreign companies) to pay a flat 24% tax on Spanish-source income up to €600,000 (47% above that) for up to 6 years, instead of progressive rates. Freelancers/autónomos are not eligible.
Initial visa is valid for 3 years, renewable for another 2 years. After 5 years, you can apply for permanent residence.
There is no minimum stay requirement to hold and renew the visa. However, if you plan to apply for permanent residence after 5 years, you will need to spend more than 183 days per year in Spain (becoming a tax resident) for those years to count toward PR.
Yes. After five years you can apply for permanent residency, and after ten years you may qualify for Spanish citizenship — though some nationalities (e.g. from Latin America) get a reduced 2-year citizenship timeline. To count toward these, you need to live in Spain at least 183 days per year.
You need a private policy with full coverage across Spain, no co-payments, and no waiting periods — equivalent to Spanish public health cover. Basic travel or standard international plans usually do NOT qualify and are a common cause of rejection. We help you choose an approved, compliant policy.
Yes. After your residence is approved, you fly to Spain to give fingerprints — for that entry you need a separate Schengen tourist visa. We can advise you on it.
Very little. We prepare everything; on your side it is just giving fingerprints and collecting your TIE card. We also book your police appointments and handle your address registration (empadronamiento).
